People long for authenticity. We search for our ’true self.’ Maybe we’ll find it. But how can we be sure? This conference is for anyone looking for a better way understand authenticity, and anyone wanting to help others become their true self. We’ll interact with these speakers:
Kyle Keating, MDiv., “Understanding Identity: How Should We Talk about Our Selves?” Kyle is the Dean of Students at Providence Christian Classical Academy and an elder at South City Church.
Amy Mattia, LPC, “Finding Peace in Your Authentic Story: Revealing the True Self with Counseling, the Enneagram, and other Tools.” Amy is the Director of Karis House Community Counseling Center at The Journey.
Sabrine Rhodes, MSW, “Individual vs. Collective Identity: How Culture and Place Impact Identity.” Sabrine is the Director of Cultural Engagement at The Journey.
Brett Vaden, PhD, “Authenticity and Friendship: The Risk and Reward of True Love.” Brett is a professor at the Three Fourteen Institute and the Director of Discipleship and Curriculum Development at The Journey.
